The crew at UNTV RADIO 1350 KHZ AM invited Mary Jane Bangga of WOW Philippines Travel Agency to visit their radio station for a live on-air interview to discuss travel in the Philippines. During the radio interview with "Brother Bear" the radio DJ, Jane and he do discuss the Philippines many beautiful island destinations, like Boracay, the number-one tourist spot in the country, along with Bohol, Cebu, Camiguin, Tagaytay and so many others. In 2014 WOW Philippines Travel Agency in Pasig City, made the decision to advertise their Boracay Go Vacation Packages on the radio, in conjunction with sponsoring the movie premier of CAPTAIN AMERICA – The Winter Soldier and SPIDER MAN 3. Rick St. John wrote and recorded the song BORACAY GO, and so we have decided to use the song in our radio jingle for Boracay Island, Philippines. The radio ad plays periodically monthly, so you will have to listen for latest vacation package deals for Boracay on STAR FM 102.7 in Manila.
YES FM 911 BORACAY RADIO STATION
Boracay is one of the Philippines most popular tourist destinations, with over 1.5 million tourist visiting this paradise island each year. In the early part of 2012 Rick St. John of WOW Philippines Travel Agency sat down and wrote a song about Boracay, called BORACAY GO. The song is focused on the most wonderful features about Boracay, what tourist come here for, like the main Boracay Beach, or Bulabog Beach where the kite-boarding and wind surfing take place during the high season months.
What is really different about the song BORACAY GO is that it encourages people to vacation here, it really promotes tourism on Boracay Island, and for Rick this was the whole purpose in creating the song. In September of 2013 Rick visited Boracay and during the visit stopped by the YES FM 911 Boracay Radio Station to introduce the song to Alan Palma, the radio station manager. After listening to the song BORACAY GO, which Alan Palma loved, he suggested to Rick to allow him to play the song on his new radio show called, Boracay, One Heart, One Goal, One Island. In October of 2010 Rick and Jane St. John of WOW Philippines Travel Agency were contacted by Tony Cuevas of the Sonshine Radio Station DZAR 1026 AM Radio Station here in Pasig City, Ortigas Center, of Metro Manila about being on-air for their travel show. ABS-CBN TELEVISION SHOW "TALK BACK" with Tina Palma
ABS-CBN Television Network host one of the Philippines popular travel shows, "TALK BACK with Tina Palma" and back in June of 2009 Rick St. John with WOW Philippines Travel Agency was asked to be part of the show along with other guest including, "Rick with TRAVEL ASIA" and the group from the very popular travel program, "TRIP-na-TRIP.
